“ASTRO COSMIC TERRAN ASSOCIATION SCIO” is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) registered No SC042560.

Charitable purposes:

  • The advancement of education
  • The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science.

The organisation’s purposes are:

To promote scientific knowledge and education, particularly in regard to  space science, the Earth sciences, and astronomy, including ancient and historic astronomy, among beginners of all backgrounds and ages, in Scotland and beyond, and to encourage interest and practical activities in those subject areas at all levels of involvement.

Membership:

  • Membership is open to any individual aged 18 or over.
  • Any person who wishes to become a member must sign a written application for membership, along with a remittance to meet the annual membership subscription; the application will then be considered by the board at the next board meeting.
  • Members shall require to pay an annual membership subscription; unless and until otherwise determined by the members, the amount of the annual membership subscription shall be £15 (adult), £10  (unwaged – subject to proof of status), £10 student  (subject to proof of status)

The annual membership subscriptions shall be payable on or before 1st January in each year.
